Likewise to Tomato Pasta, White Pasta is also an extremely simple recipe to prepare even at home, stir with veggies, boil the pasta, and mix them all properly.

Ingredients:

For White Sauce:

  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Butter,
  • 1 Tablespoon all Purpose Flour,
  • 1 Cup Milk(250ml),
  • ¼  Teaspoon Red Chilly Flakes,
  • 1 Teaspoon Finely Chopped Garlic, Optional,
  • ¼ Teaspoon Dried Oregano, Optional,
  • A Pinch of Black Pepper Powder,
  • Salt to taste.

For Pasta:

  • ¾ Cup Pasta,
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt,
  • 4-5 Cups Water.

For Veggies:

  • ¼ Cup Chopped Green Capsicum,
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Red Capsicum,
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Broccoli,
  • ¼ Cup Carrot,
  • ½ Teaspoon Oil,
  • Salt to taste.

Directions:

  1. Boil raw Pasta according to the instructions written over the packet or; Take 4-5 cups of water in a deep saucepan, heat it over medium heat. When it starts to boil, add ¾ cup pasta and ½ teaspoon salt in it.
  2. Boil them until cooked but not very soft, which will take around 10-12 minutes. Take a piece of pasta out with folk and check if it is a little firm to bite, and if not, then cook for several more minutes.
  3. Transfer the cooked pasta into a large colander and drain the excess water from it.
  4. Alternatively, ½ teaspoon oil in a pan over full heat. Add ¼ cup chopped green capsicum, ¼ cup chopped red capsicum, ¼ cup broccoli, ¼ cup carrot and salt to it.
  5. Stir and cook the veggies in the pan for 2-3 minutes, until little-cooked nut crunchy. Now, turn off the heat and transfer it to a plate.
  6. Heat 1 ½ tablespoons butter in the same pan over medium heat. Add ½ teaspoon finely chopped garlic and sauté it for 30 seconds.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour and stir continuously and cook for a minute.
  8. Pour 1 cup milk little-little while stirring continuously with a whisk. Stir and mix for 1-2 minutes.
  9. Reduce the flame from too low and continue stirring the mix until well thickened. It will take 3-4 minutes depending on the size of the pan.
  10. Add ¼ teaspoon Oregano, ¼ teaspoon Red Chilly Flakes, a pinch of Black Pepper Powder and Salt to it and mix well.
  11. Now, add sautéed pasta and veggies, turn off the flame, and mix well.
  12. Finally, transfer it to a serving plate. The White Sauce Pasta is now perfectly ready to eat. Garnish it with grated cheese and serve it Smoking Hot.
